I would like to introduce my-self, my name is Nicki, I qualified as a hairdresser
in 2000. From the very first day I loved hair dressing especially the hair up part
of my training. The college ran a yearly designers hairstyle competition, each year
was a different theme, in my last year the theme was wedding hair, and we had to
design everything from the hair to the makeup and even choosing the dress. I was
very happy to not only receive first place but a personal achievement merit.This
must have given me the bug and I have loved creating beautiful styles for brides
ever since.
I believe that the bride should feel relaxed and at ease with the person who is doing
her hair and make up on her special day. Having my-self got married in October 2006,
I appreciate how stressful choosing that style can be, we all worry that we may not
find a style to suit us or that our hair is too long or even that you don’t have
enough hair to create that certain dream style you have set your heart on. Believe
me anything is possible, I will let you into a little secret, I wore a full hair
piece on my wedding day and everyone was amazed with the results, as you can see
by the photograph of me on my front page.
Every bride should be pampered and made to feel like a princess on their wedding
day, that’s why I think its perfect to be able to have your hair and make up done
in the comfort of your own home or wedding venue, when I got married I loved the
idea that I could wander around in my slippers and dressing gown, sipping on champagne
in a comfortable and stress free surroundings, while having my hair and make up done.
